I founded Profit First Professionals Canada to help bookkeepers, accountants, business coaches and entrepreneurs build profitable, systemized, sustainable businesses — without losing sleep. Now, I want to help you, too.

My journey

From entrepreneurial struggle to financial success

Entrepreneurship has always been in my blood — by 21, I was a Certified Esthetician and had opened my own salon within six months of graduating. Going to school at night to learn how to manage my own financials turned into a side gig as a bookkeeper, run from a corner of my living room.

At the same time, I was in an extremely unhealthy marriage with someone who devalued me and my contributions. Our home was a toxic environment that felt inescapable, and my part-time bookkeeping gig wasn't going to support me and my three kids. I was at rock bottom — drowning in debt and struggling to stay afloat. I had to make a plan and get out, not just for myself, but for my children.

After years of planning and exhaustion, I finally generated a steady income that became the bottom line of my freedom. In 2016, I proved to myself that I could not only remove myself from a foul eleven-year relationship, but push past limits I once thought were unobtainable.

Turning experience into a mission

I've gone on to take what I learned in my own journey and apply it to other businesses. Studying the Profit First cash flow methodology, I became a Certified Mastery Profit First Professional, and my mission became helping business owners everywhere get in control of their finances.

I've worked with private clients, been a guest speaker on webinars and podcasts, and built Accelerate 2 Advisor™ — an intensive mastermind helping bookkeepers and accountants move from compliance and overwhelm into high-value advisory. Bringing that same system to Canada, I founded Profit First Professionals Canada: a network of trained bookkeepers and accountants who guide entrepreneurs into predictable, sustainable profitability.

Now, my mission is to help entrepreneurs become profitable — and empower the bookkeepers and accountants who support them.
